In an announcement released on December 10th, 2020 SEA Studio was honored with three awards for design excellence from the Delaware Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
The House on Gordon's Pond in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware earned an Honor Award which was the highest award given to a residential project this year. On awarding the project, the jury noted the simple, plan organization and the attention to detail throughout the house.
SEA Studio's own studio in Millville, Delaware, The Sustainable Office, earned a 2020 AIA Delaware Merit Award. The jury appreciated the commitment to sustainability throughout the design and construction of the building.
38 Oak, in Rehoboth Beach Delaware, earned a Merit award. On awarding the home, the Jurors exclaimed that "this is how renovations should be done."
The biennial AIA Delaware Design Awards Program is dedicated to recognizing significant achievements of its Members in planning, design, and execution of architectural projects; establishing a standard of excellence against which architects can measure their own performance.
